Our Mission is a Safe Campus
One of the safest campuses, or any
jurisdiction for that matter, in the State of Tennessee.
We accomplish the
level of safety we maintain here
at APSU by our sense of community.
Everyone here feels responsible for
taking care of one another. You are
augmented in this effort by our
professional staff of Public Safety
personnel, including a cadre of sworn
police officers, trained to the same
standards as our county and city
police counterparts, and armed and
empowered with the same authority.
We are proud of our working
relationships with numerous other
agencies in ensuring your safety:
Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and the
Clarksville City Police,
Fort Campbell Military Police,
Tennessee Highway Patrol and Tennessee Bureau
of Investigation and the Tennessee
Emergency Management Agency. If you
park and drive according to law and
campus regulation, obey the stringent
law and campus regulation prohibiting
alcohol and drug possession/use, and
treat other members of the campus
community with dignity and respect,
you will enjoy your time here just as
the rest of us do.
Please feel
free to call, email, or stop by
anytime whether just to say "hi," or
to share your concerns.
